Chesapeake Care Clinic is a non-profit organization established in 1992 that is on a mission to provide the best quality medical and dental care and improve the quality of life of the low-income, underserved, and underinsured occupants of Hampton Roads.
The clinic now has a network of over 500 licensed medical, dental and administrative volunteers who help deliver consistent, patient-focused care to underserved individuals. They strive to make quality medical and dental care accessible to everyone and bridge the gap in healthcare. The volunteer staff of the clinic includes physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, hygienists, pharmacists, nurses, and medical assistants who, besides providing medical care, provide administrative support, maintenance of buildings and grounds, conduct specific projects, shop for supplies, etc.
We offer full-range primary care medical services to low-income, underinsured inhabitants of Hampton Roads.
Our dental program includes offering preventative dental care that includes cleanings, screenings, patient education, restorative fillings, extractions, dentures, etc.
For individuals diagnosed with any chronic conditions, our chronic disease management allows patients to be seen by a consistent team of health care providers and helps bring the condition under control.
We offer specialty physicians for needed individuals.
We offer a medication assistance program to uninsured and low-income patients.
We provide counseling as part of our comprehensive healthcare for patients with minor to moderate mental health care problems.
We offer annual exams, including mammograms, to analyze women's health.
We also provide diagnostic labs partnering with Chesapeake Regional Medical Center and LabCorp.
